Select

Select is part of the USA Softball Select Program and offers a longer competitive season than traditional All-Stars. Eligibility is limited to players who participate in our Spring recreational season. Athletes must attend tryouts and be selected to a team. Rosters are typically formed between November and January, and teams follow a USA Softball–assigned tournament schedule from January through July. Participation in the Spring recreational league is encouraged but not required. The program’s primary goal is to qualify for and compete in the Class B Western Nationals.

More Information about Select:

West Sac Girls Softball participates in the USA Softball “B” Select program. Our Legends Select Program is designed to create a more competitive environment for players to participate while remaining in a recreational league setting. The Select program is designed so teams compete year-round against the other Select teams in the greater Sacramento area. This competitive tournament environment supports our community without the extensive cost of an “A” type Travel Ball program.
